Punch and Judy’s Baby… The cause of all their arguments

The Baby is thought to of been added to the cast at around the time the change over to the use of hand puppets occurred, this is because the Punch and Judy Professor could now hold a puppet in each hand and each puppet could an object

i.e. Mr Punch holding his slapstick
